As the premiere Jewish fraternity in the nation, and the only Jewish fraternity at UNC-Chapel Hill, Alpha Epsilon Pi offers countless opportunities for students to explore their Jewish heritage both culturally and religiously.
Through Shabbat dinners, Birthright trips, Chanukah parties, and other Jewish activities, Alpha Epsilon Pi Brothers come together through a common heritage. Brothers have opportunities to interact with both Hillel and Chabad on campus, and many of us have leadership positions at these organizations. Alpha Epsilon Pi is one of the foundations of the small, but vibrant Jewish community in Chapel Hill.
However, Alpha Epsilon Pi is NOT a religious organization. Our basic purpose is to provide the opportunity for a Jewish man to be able to join a Jewish organization whose purpose is not specifically religious, but rather social and cultural in nature.
As a secular Jewish organization with brothers from all denominations, Alpha Epsilon Pi is non-discriminatory and open to all who are willing to espouse its purpose and values.
